Error description
If the People Finder is placed on an anonymous page (a page that does not require authentication to view) and the Person Card feature is accessed by selecting the "Click for Person Card" link an authentication prompt will be displayed by the browser. This feature of the People Finder portlet should be available to anonymous users.
Local fix
Problem summary
Person Card exploits ImageServlet for displaying user photo in card and this ImageServlet is user access restricted resource and requires desired level of athorization for accessing it.
Problem conclusion
To resolve this issue, team removed the reference of ImageServlet and integrate PUMA rest api for accessing the image. Fix can be downloaded from http://www.ibm.com/eserver/support/fixes/fixcentral/swg/quickord er?apar=PM06604&productid=WebSphere%20Portal&brandid=5
