  If a DataObject property value is set using with an object of
  an incompatible type, then a subsequent call to the get()
  method will cause a ClassCastException to be thrown.
  Typically, DataObject.set() will prevent such an assignment,
  but if the value is a wrapped simple type, it is possible to
  set such an invalid value.
  

Problem conclusion

• The expectation for data in this scenario is to be tolerant
  enough to support data out. So, changes have been made in the
  SDO implementation so it will now be tolerant and return the
  invalid value in this scenario.
