PM05241: SITES & TAXONOMIES WITHOUT SAME NAME SIBLINGS ARE BEING RENAMED BY MIGRATION.

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If you have a site and a taxonomy with the same name, one of
them will is considered a same name sibling and renamed by
migration (with an _1 extension) even though sites and
taxonomies do not exist under the same path.

Local fix

  • Make sure your sites and taxonomies do not have the same name in
    WCM v5 before starting migration.

Problem summary

  • Migration was using the same context for top level hierachical
items when checking if a name had already been used in that path
so sites and taxonomies with the same name were considered same
name siblings and one of them was renamed.

Problem conclusion

  • A different context is now used for sites and taxonomies.
