Error description

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Links to content/components in the remote rendering portlet may
    not work after applying CF30 (PM01138) or CF31 (PM02179)

If you have applied WCM cumulative ifix CF30(PM01138) and
CF31(PM02179), you may see the links to content or some
components in the Remote Rendering Portlet no longer work.

After applying the fix, you will notice that when a link is
clicked it takes you back to your default page (ie. it does not
even stay on the same page). In the URL you will see
"%3CWCM_RP%3E", which indicates it is a broken link.

Note: This only effects customers using Remote Rendering
    Portlet.

Problem conclusion

  • Link URLs were being generated incorrectly. The link URL and
    prefix information were being encoded.

    Encode the URL only.
