PM04520: INCORRECT CALLBACK HANDLER PANEL IS DISPLAYED FOR AN X.509 AUTHENTICATION TOKEN IN THE ADMINISTRATIVE CONSOLE

Error description

When a policy set binding is created for a policy set that
contains a WS-Security policy type that defines an X.509
authentication token, an incorrect Callback handler panel will
be displayed for the X.509 authentication token generator by the
administrative console.  The Callback handler panel contains
fields for a User name and Password, but should contain fields
for a Keystore, Keystore password, Alias, etc.

After the bindings are configured using the incorrect panel, the
following exception will occur when the X.509 token is created
at application runtime:

CWWSS6521E: The Login failed because of an exception:
javax.security.auth.login.LoginException:
com.ibm.wsspi.wssecurity.core.SoapSecurityException: CWWSS7064E:
Both KeyStore Reference and KeyStore Path are null.

Problem conclusion

The missing fields have been added to the X509 token
binding callback handler.
