  The ABEND U4039 (which is LE intercepting an ABEND S0Cx),
  occurred in CHCMIEDD, while processing a derived column
  expression.  Logic CHCMIEDD attempted to move the derived
  column expression text into the 1000 byte analysis buffer.
  The expression that was less than 1000 bytes.  Moving 1000
  bytes extended the fetch from the sending area into storage
  after the expression. This storage was in the next virtual
  storage page, which hadn't been allocated yet.  This caused
  a PGM 011 interruption, and eventually the ABEND U4039.
  

Problem conclusion

• Module CHCMIEDD has been ammended to move only the amount of
  data received.
