This problem may occur if multiple JAX-WS clients are running in the same Java Virtual Machine and all of the clients use the same JAX-WS handler list.
Problem conclusion
The JAX-WS runtime sorts the handler chain. If multiple clients are using the same chain, a ConcurrentModificationException error may occur. The JAX-WS runtime is changed to use a copy of the handler chain in the code that sorts the handler chain. This change avoids the error. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 6.1.0.31.
