    * log exceptions to FFDC when FFDC has *
    * not yet been initialized. *

    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    One of the model initialization services in WebSphere attempts
    to log any exceptions that occur to First Failure Data Capture
    (FFDC). However, at the time of these exceptions, the FFDC
    component has not yet been initialized, so the exceptions are
    lost.

Problem conclusion

  • The exception data has been rerouted from FFDC to standard out
    or trace logging, as available.

    APAR PM02281 is currently targeted for inclusion in Service
    Level (Fix Pack) 6.0.2.39 of WebSphere Application Server
    V6.0.1.
