Error description
SyndicatedFeedPortlet is not sending HTTPS requests using the CONNECT method to the proxy server it has been configured to use. This occurs in scenarios where the proxy server is meant to use the tunneling method to pass through data. The proxy server may show errors such as: TCP_DENIED/400 1170 NONE error:unsupported-request-method - NONE/-text/html
Local fix
A new version of the Syndicated Feed Portlet's ibm-sdcommons.jar has been created to address this issue.
