Error description
After applying CICS TS 3.2 PUT0906 All HIPERS & RSU thru 0909, a problem occurs when trying to enable a file. After issuing the Cemt command: CEMT S FILE(S*) ENA , there is an error: Fil(S* ) ERROR. There are no other error messages, abends, or anything. Just the 'ERROR' indicating that there is an issue with trying to set (S*) ENABLED. The interesting thing here is that the problem only occurs when UK49670 is applied. Customer ran the CEMT S FILE(S*) ENA with the PTF applied and with it removed, and the 'ERROR' problem only occurs when the PTF is applied. So, in essence, the error that is encountered is the 'ERROR' message being displayed when it should not be. Additional Keywords: ERROR , FILE , 0909 , UK49670
