Error description

  • Within the Parent/Child control on the Eclipse Client only, a st
ateless child record (reference list) does not appear on the par
ent form after creation.  However, you can search for the child
record by using 'Find' and then you see that it was successfully
 created.

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • Stateless child records do not appear on the parent record when
the display column for the child record's control is DBID and
the database is SQLServer.  Preventing the DBID from being added
twice to the display fields prevents database-vendor-specific
issues and allows the child record to be shown.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A fix is available in ClearQuest 7.1.1.1.
