Error description

  • Under certain circumstances, an administrator may see the
    following exception in the logs:
    
    [8/31/09 14:42:46:742 CEST] 00000055 SystemErr R
    javax.jcr.LoginException: Login failed for UserId: CN=....
    Retrieved UNAUTHENTICATED subject
    from WebSphere Application Server
    at
    com.ibm.icm.jcr.RepositoryImpl.login(RepositoryImpl.java:448)
    at
    com.ibm.icm.jcr.RepositoryImpl.login(RepositoryImpl.java:425)
    at
    com.ibm.icm.jcr.RepositoryImpl.login(RepositoryImpl.java:415)
    
    This is due to a change in the WebSphere Application Server that
    passes UNAUTHENTICATED as the subject's credentials where
    previously the value was null.
