    observed one hour difference between the actual time and the
    time provided by Java.

Problem summary

  • The problem is caused when there is not suitable mapping
    timezone entry between OS and Java in tzmappings file.
    

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    1.4.2 SR13-FP3
    .
    The German timezone mapping entry has been added to the
    tzmappings file so that JVM picks up correct time.
    .
    To obtain the fix:
    Install build 20091106 or later
