APAR status
Closed as program error.
Error description
WCT V7 generates WAS V6.1 daemon proc in 64-bit mode instead of 31-bit mode. Sample generated JCL: //BBO6DMN PROC ENV=,Z=BBO6DMNZ // SET ROOT='/wasv61config/bbobase/bbonode' //BBODAEMN EXEC PGM=BBGDAEMN,REGION=0M //BBOENV DD PATH='&ROOT/&ENV/was.env' // INCLUDE MEMBER=&Z Note, PGM=BBGDAEMN. This issue does not exist with AST zPMT or when running configuration using MVS customization dialog - bbowstrt.
Local fix
To switch back to 31-bit daemon, change the following part in the JCL: PGM=BBGDAEMN to PGM=BBODAEMN and recycle the daemon.
