The following error occurs when a DN is represented in the form
of claudia=@mx1.ibm.com instead of format cn=claudia=@mx1.ibm.co
m.

*                      cannot be authenticated                 *

When a given user id string contains a equal sign, this equal
sign is treated as a special character. As a result, a search
operation of LDAP server might fail since standalone LDAP user
registry sets an improper search parameter.

Problem conclusion

With this fix, a proper search parameter is used for searching
LDAP even an equal sign exists in a user id string.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.9.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
