Error description

Transaction qualifiers are missing in the following EventServer
app: EventServerEjb.jarMETA-INFejb-jar.xml
EventAccessEjb -> purgeEvents method

"required" + "requiresNew" transaction qualifiers are missing
here but necessary otherwise Application Server prohibits the
access for example, via rollback of current transaction.

can be seen when eventPurge is called using CEI API and the
caller is not in a transaction.

Problem conclusion

Caller of CEI event purge API method will always be in a
transaction. If something goes wrong, the purge events method
want to mark the transaction for rollback.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 6.1.0.29 and 7.0.0.9.  Please refer to the
