Error description

If the name of the Migration Backup Directory contains a space
character then the applications are failing to be installed.

*                  the migration backup directory name.        *

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When the backup dir includes a space    *
*                      in its name, applications will fail     *
*                      to install as part of the Post          *
*                      migration step.                         *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:  Do not use a space in the backup directory  *
*                  name.                                       *
****************************************************************
If -installApps is set to true (default) then WebSphere
Application Server Post Migration configures an install script
for each migrating application.  This script is stored in the
backup dir.  Then the wsadmin script is invoked which includes
the full path name to the script.  The space in the path name
caused the shell to mis-parse the command line invocation and
thus fails to install the application.

Problem conclusion

Code has been modified to take into account the possibility
that the backup directory may contain spaces.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.9.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
