PK96926: NULLPOINTER EXCEPTION IS THROWN WHEN USING INLINE EDIT IN THE LOCAL RENDERING PORTLET.

Error description

• When using the inline edit functionality within the LRP you
  click the button to create a new content item. This generates a
  portlet message stating the portlet is temporarily unavailable

Problem summary

• In using the inline edit functionality in theLRP. When the user
  clicks the button to edit the item he gets an error
  saying the portlet is temporarily disabled. A
  NullPointerException is also thrown.
  

Problem conclusion

• The AppModel should already be created by
  RenderingPortlet.handleDoView() - however this
  method does not update the session attributes in SessionMapper.
  When the appModel is later accessed
  a NullPointerException results.
  Updates the session attributes in the SessionMapper with the
  appModel.
