  To Reproduce, all on the same Solaris 10 system:
  
  1)  Install ClearCase 7.1 Full Installation on the global zone
  
  2)  Install ClearCase 7.1 Full Installation on the non-global zo
  ne
  
  3)  Stop ClearCase on the non-global zone
  
  4)  From the global zone, now attempt to upgrade to 7.0.1.2:  Th
  e following error will be seen:
  
  ClearCase MVFS must be uninstalled from every Non-Global Zone if
   it is uninstalled from the Global Zone
  
  
  NOTE:  If more than one option for ClearCase was installed, such
   as the CM server or MultiSite, those products may be left in a
  partially installed/uninstalled state.  An example of the errors
   seen when both the Full Installation of ClearCase/MultiSite as
  well as the CM Server:

  Workaround:  Uninstall ClearCase from every non-global zone befo
  re upgrading the global zone.  Once the global zone is upgraded,
   you may reinstall ClearCase on the non-global zones.

Problem conclusion

• This is addressed in 7.1.2 version of ClearCase and will be
  applicable to upgrades to later versions from version 7.1.2
  and onwards.
