  WCM RTE BREAKS LINKS OF IMPORTED IMAGES & IMPORTED HTML
  
  DESCRIPTION:
  
  Web content management ( WCM ) may observe issues as per the
  scenarios reported below :
  
  Create a new piece of content from an authoring template and add
  the Rich Text Editor (RTE) element in the authoring template.
  When carrying out any of the following mentioned steps you would
  see the issue reported :
  
  a) Use the HTML import functionality
  b) Use the "Insert Image" functionality ( without the "Add image
  to library with anonymous access" feature enabled )

  You would see the following exceptions in the logs and the
  images do not get saved in the RTE:

  We have a workaround here in place which is to downgrade the JDK
  level as per the following URL :

Local fix

• A fix has been created to allow the latest SDK to be used.
  
  
  We have a workaround here in place which is to downgrade the JDK
  level as per the following URL :

Problem summary

• NPE in createResourceMime when saving content where images were
  added to the RTE.  Solaris with SDK > 1.4.2_14
  

Problem conclusion

• WCM running on Solaris where the SDK is upgraded to version
  1.4.2_15b01 or higher will encounter an issue where images added
  to the RTE are not correctly saved and the following error is
  logged to the SystemOut.log:

  The root cause of the issue is createResourceMIME could not read
  stream for the image.  When this happened prior to this fix WCM
  would then try to set an attribute on the resourceMime.  The
  resourceMime was however null because WCM failed to read from
  the steam.  WCMs failure to read from the stream was being
  caused by a ZipException due to an invalid CRC.  WCM was always
  storing the zipEntries with a CRC of 0 and due to a bug fix in
  1.4.2_15b01 the Solaris SDK started checking the CRCs on
  uncompressed reads.
  

Temporary fix

• back level the WASSDK to a level prior to
  1.4.2_15b01
