Full update failed to merge the DataSourceFor20EJBModules
bindings of new enterprise bean modules in the EAR file, if
defaultDataSource is not defined in ibm-ejb-jar-bnd.xmi. If
defaultDataSource is not defined in the bindings file, it try
to look for its value in the existing application, since it?s
a newly added enterprise bean module, existing application
returns a Null value and it failed with a NullPointerException.

Problem conclusion

The fix will pull the defaultDataSource from the existing
application, only if it exists otherwise skip that step and
proceed further with application update.

fix packs 6.1.0.29 and 7.0.0.9.  Please refer to the
