    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A ClassCastException will occur *
    * during application deployment if the *
    *                      application deployment descriptor       *
    * contains a reference to an unknown *
    *                      module.                                 *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    While parsing the application deployment descriptor, if a
    module element points to a URI that does not exist the error
    processing tries to use an alternate method to find the
    module. This error path contains an incorrect class type
    reference on a method invocation.

Problem conclusion

  • The processing in the error path has been changed to remove
    the alternate method of module location. It has been
    determined to be extraneous.
