APAR status

Error description

• Previewing content in local rendering portlet brings user away
  from authoring portlet.
  When previewing WCM items from the authoring portlet on a local
  portal page, the same
  window is used to render the content.  However, when previewing
  the same content as a
  stand alone web page, a new window is used for the preview.
  
  This APAR allows configuration parameter to be added to the
  authoring portlet to
  allow previewing within the local portal page to open in a new
  window as well.
  
  After installing the APAR, to enable the behavior:
  * Login as portal admin
  * Navigate to the WP Admin page
  * Under Portlets, find the wcm authoring portlet
  * click the wrench icon to add a new portlet parameter.  Add the
  following parameter:
  Name: WCM_PREVIEW_LOCAL_PORTAL_NEWWINDOW
  value: true
  
  * CLick on add button
  * click Ok
  * Logout and login.
