Error description

When the Profile Management Tool for z/OS generates
instructions for augmenting  a WebSphere Application Server
for z/OS Version 6.1 node with WebSphere Virtual Enterprise or
WebSphere Compute Grid, the generated instructions do not
include a step for running the "final" job.

The instructions generated by the Profile Management Tool for
z/OS (zPMT) Version 7.0 when augmenting a WebSphere
Application Server for z/OS Version 6.1 or Version 7.0 node
with either WebSphere Virtual Enterprise or WebSphere Compute
Grid fail to reference the "final" customization job that must
be run. (This job is provided by WebSphere Virtual Enterprise
or WebSphere Compute Grid and has a job name in the form of
EOXJFINx or ECXJFINx, respectively.)

Problem conclusion

The Profile Management Tool for z/OS has been updated to allow
WebSphere Virtual Enterprise and WebSphere Compute Grid to
"augment" the generated instructions to include a step to run
the "final" customization job.

APAR PK90892 is currently targeted for inclusion in Service
Level 7.0.0.6  of WebSphere Customization Tools. WebSphere
Customization Tools Service Level 7.0.0.6 will be available
for downloads on or before October 2, 2009 at the following
location:
