• Insert link RTE RichText editor with selected text results in
  the URL being used as the link text CF18 and CF19
  

Problem conclusion

• Incorrect  link text is used in the RTE if an item is selected
  in the RTE after upgrading to cumulative fix 18 or cumulative
  fix 19 for version 6.0.1.5 and 6.0.1.4.  Therefore, the link may
  look something like the following example:

  Note due to the above code that is inserted into the RTE the
  following is displayed to the user in the RTE as the link text:

  After a review of the code there was a change to the WCM
  java-script library that results in the link text always being
  set equal to the links href field if the text is blank.  In
  cases where an item in the RTE is selected the link text passed
  to the function will always be null, this is expected when an
  item is selected.  The function is to take the selected
  item/text and convert it to a link.  It will not do this if the
  link text is set.
  

Temporary fix

• Add the image and or text and the link to it in
  the same step, rather than selecting existing text or image.
