    *                         result in message IEC141I indicating *
    * error code 013-18 in step FTPSTEP. *
    *                         (26737)                              *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF that resolves this *
    * APAR, the EYU9XDDA utility should be rerun *
    * pointing to the libraries updated by the *
    *                 PTF.                                         *
    ****************************************************************
    - EYU9XDDA does not validate the inclusion value to be either
       YES or NO for the BOOK TYPE parms for CICSPLEX or CICSREGION.

    - When EYU9XDDA hits the LIMIT parm value for a specific
       resourcetype, the internal limit counter is not reset. As a
       result all future resource types will incorrectly hit the
       LIMIT value when processing the first resource for the type.

    - When message EYUXD1000I is issued by EYU9XDDA, the parm name
       LIMIT is substituted for the <limit> insert instead of the
       value of the LIMIT parm.

    - EYU9XDDA does not validate that the LIMIT parm is numeric.
       This will result in unpredictable values being used for the
       LIMIT value.

    - Sample JCL member EYUJXDD0 specifies an invalid member name
       for the IDMLFILE in the FTPSTEP.

Problem conclusion

  • - EYU9XDDA has been updated to validate that the inclusion
       value is either YES, NO or defaulted to YES for the BOOK TYPE
       parms for CICSPLEX or CICSREGION. If it is not, message
       EYUXD1009E will be issued.

    - EYU9XDDA has been updated to reset the internal limit counter
       when switching from one resource type to another.

    - EYU9XDDA has been updated to set EYUXD1000I message <limit>
       insert to the invalid LIMIT parm value.

    - EYU9XDDA has been updated to validate that the LIMIT parm is
       a numeric value. If not, message EYUXD1000I will be issued.

    - Sample JCL member EYUJXDD0 has been updated to specify the
       value member name for the IDMLFILE in the FTPSTEP.
