Error description

When addNode.sh/bat with the -includeapps option is executed,
and the target cell has multiple files in the repository which
match the pattern
cells/<cellname>/applications/<appname.ear>/deployments
/<appname>/deployment.xml  (ie, deploy.xml_bak), then the
application is seen as not being installed, and the
application will be included in the list of applications to be
installed, resulting in the application being replaced in the
cell.

Local fix

This fix will be delivered in Nov 2009 in fixpack 7.0.0.7.  The
circumvention is to not add files into the repository.

When addNode.sh / .bat is run with the -includeapps option,
and the target cell for federation has multiple files in the
repository which match the pattern cells/<cellname>applications/
<appname.ear>/deployments/<appname>/deployment.xml
(ie, deployment.xml_bak), then the application is seen as not
being installed in the cell, and the application will
incorrectly be included in the list of applications to be
installed, resulting in the application being updated in the
cell.

Problem conclusion

The code has been modified such that, if one or more files are
found which match the pattern above, the application is
considered to exist in the cell and is not included in the list
of applications to be included.  The fix for this APAR is
currently targeted for inclusion in Service Level (Fix Pack) of
WebSphere Application Server version 7.0 (7.0.0.7). Please
