Error description
Web archive (WAR) module install or update fails in the adminstrative console and also in wsadminJACL, if the context root is not passed. JYTHON allows an update to the war module and replacing the existing context root with "/". For example : Jacl Working case : AdminApp.update('DefaultApp', 'app', '-contents ' + 'DefaultApp.war' + ' -operation update -contextroot /default') Jacl non working case : AdminApp.update('DefaultApp', 'app', '-contents ' + 'DefaultApp.war' + ' -operation update') In the non working case, it resets the context root to "/" .
