Error description

When using web services with WebSphere Process Server, many
calls to LockableHashtable.get() may cause a
StackOverflowError, as seen in the stack trace below:

A StackOverflowError may occur when running a web service
application when using WebSphere Process Server due to
accumulation of LockableHashtable (LHT) objects in the
MessageContext.

Problem conclusion

The issue is caused by the MessageContext uncontrollably
initializing LockableHashtable (LHT) objects, which are used to
store properties related to the web service message.

Eventually the chain of LHTs may grow excessively large,
causing recursive method calls in LHT.get() to become too deep,
causing the reported error.

The issue was corrected by adding logic that prevents the
accumulation of LHTs in the MessageContext, precluding
recursive calls in LHT.get() from becoming too deeply nested
in the call stack.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 6.0.2.37, 6.1.0.27, 7.0.0.7.  Please refer to the
