Error description

  • When using mod_mem_cache with IHS 6.0 or 6.1, a slow
    memory leak could occur under load.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When using mod_mem_cache with IHS 6.0   *
    * or 6.1, child processes' memory usage would grow gradually   *
    * over time until they'd eventually crash.                     *

    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply this fix if using mod_mem_cache with   *
    * IHS 6.0 or 6.1.                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    When using mod_mem_cache with IHS 6.0 or 6.1, child processes'

Problem conclusion

  • mod_mem_cache was fixed to resolve the memory leak.
    
    This fix is targeted for IHS fixpacks:
     - 6.0.2.37
     - 6.1.0.27
     - (n/a for 7.0 release)
