Error description

  • After installing 6101 CF 7 (PK81490), a
    
    java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: java.lang.String: method contains
    (Ljava/lang/CharSequence;)Z not found
    
    is obsereved on the remote rendering portlet. This is concerning
    the remote rendering portlet that is deployed on a portal
    6.0.1.x server that is running jre 1.4.x
    

Local fix

  • Change the code to be compatible with jre 1.4
