PK82351: SETTING THE WORKFLOW OF AN EXISTING OBJECT, OTHER THAN CONTENT, THROUGH THE API FAILS TO UPDATE THE OBJECT WHEN WORKSPACE.SAVE()

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• During the attempt to update, WCM looks for a draft workspace
  for the object, but it may not have been draft. The API
  Workspace object was not correctly looking in the right place.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• The save fails, with exceptions in the logs indicating that the
  workspace cannot be found. This is because it is looking for a
  draft workspace.
  

Problem conclusion

• Changed WCM_Workspace.save() to check to see if the Document is
  an instance of WCM_EditableWorkflowedDocument instead of
  WCM_Content before checking its previous workflow state and
  calling ContentService.update().
