Error description

  • Apply Authoring template button is not visible while editing
    content for users that are in the group that has Editor access
    for Content. These same users can see the More Actions ->Apply
    Template though.

Problem conclusion

  • ERROR DESCRIPTION:
    Apply Authoring template button is not visible while editing
    content for users that are in the group that has Editor access
    for Content. These same users can see the More Actions ->Apply
    Template though.
    
    Problem was WCM was checking access on incorrect WCM object.
