Error description

  • Reinstalling an application which contains resources or
    classes in new packages while the application server is running
    may result in a ClassNotFoundException or the failure to find a
    resource for a class or resource in one of the new packages.
    Additional symptoms:
    java.util.zip.ZipException: ZipFile closed

    The SinglePathClassProvider was not removing itself from the
    cache when it was disposed of, for example when an application
    is stopped. When the application was restarted, the cached
    SinglePathClassProvider was used instead of creating a new
    one.  Any new packages in the provider were not added to the
    package list.  Trying to use a class or resource in one of the
    new packages resulted in it not being found.
