compile in an application which is at the Java Servlet
Specification Version 2.3 or 2.4 level.

*                      tag attribute that has a deferred       *
*                      expression as the value will fail to    *
*                      compile if the application is running   *
*                      at the  Java Servlet Specification      *
*                      Version 2.3 or 2.4 level.               *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

For applications running at the Java Servlet Specification
Version 2.3 or 2.4 level deferred expressions should be
treated as literals when validating the value of a custom tag
attribute.
However, an exception occurs during the translation of the
file because the deferred expression is not treated as a
literal and results in the failure of the JSP compilation.
An example expression syntax is:

   id="test" value="#{sampleExpression.testList}"
   var="sample">

Problem conclusion

The JSP Container was modified to check if the custom tag
attribute should evaluate a deferred expression while
validating the JSP.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 7.0.0.5.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
