PK78005: DYNAMIC OUTBOUND SSL IS NOT WORKING IF THE REMOTEHOST IS IN A DIFFERENT CASE

Error description

Dynamic selection is being rejected when the remoteHost passed
in to the JSSEHelper API does NOT match the case for the host
specified in the connection information for a dynamic Secure
Sockets Layer (SSL) configuration.

In security.xml we see as lower case

Problem summary

Dynamic selection is being rejected when the remoteHost passed
in to the JSSEHelper API does NOT match the case for the host
specified in the connection information for a dynamic SSL
configuration.

Problem conclusion

The code was modified such that the remote host from the
JSSEHelper API is compared in a case insensitive manner to the
remote host in the connection information for the dynamic SSL
configuration.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpacks 6.1.0.25 and 7.0.0.5.  Please refer to the Recommended
