    =====================
    When starting a web services application an error message
    like the following might occur:

    During web services application startup, a WSWS1037E error
    like the following might appear in the JVM log file:

    WSServerImpl E WSWS1037E: The JSR 109 JAX-RPC mapping DD file

    com.ibm.ws.webservices.component.WSServerImpl.loadJavaWsdlMappin
    gXML(WSServerImpl.java:917)
    ...

    The JVM log reports that the application started successfully;
    however, the WSWS1037E error indicates that the web service is
    not configured properly. When the web service is invoked,
    undesirable runtime errors might occur.

Problem conclusion

  • The WSWS1037E error is a non-specific error that could be
    caused by a variety of exceptions occurring when the web
    services engine tries to load the web service's JAX-RPC mapping
    file. This APAR fixes only the
    org.eclipse.emf.ecore.xmi.PackageNotFoundException that occurs
    when
    com.ibm.ws.webservices.wsdl.mapping.MappingMetaDOM.
    loadFromFile() calls
    org.eclipse.emf.ecore.resource.impl.ResourceSetImpl.
    getResource().

    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fixpack 6.0.2.35, 6.1.0.25, and 7.0.0.5. Please refer to the
