This APAR fixes two issues:

1) When a realm name is specified for a user realm that uses a
custom user registry, the realm name is not used consistently.
The realm name from the console and the realm name provided by
the custom registry are used in different contexts resulting
in authorization failures.

2) When an application is installed into the global security
domain, the J2EE role binding panel does not allow you to bind
the role to users and groups from other realms.

Problem conclusion

Code is updated to address the issues described in Problem
Summary section.  Following is the behavior after applying
this apar:

1) If the realm name is specified it is honored properly -
overriding the value returned from the custom user registry.

2) After the fix, applications installed into the global
security domain can specify users and groups from other
realms.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 7.0.0.3.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
