  • 0C4 in DFHSMSR because dfhxmnt_ptr not set up correctly.
Additional symptoms:
DFHSM0001 ABEND0C4 0C4 DFHSMSR offset 0426 with APAR
PK74787 ptf UK41467 applied.   Also Transaction
isolation is active.  Subspace Create TCB

It is possible for DFHSMSR to suffer an abendS0C4. This abend0C4
occurs for a switch_subspace call because the code to set
pointer, dfhxmnt_ptr correctly, has been bypassed.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • UK41467
DFHSMSR has been changed to ensure the dfhxmnt_ptr is set up
when required.
