Error description
If you change the case of a character in the name of a site area the links generated by menus and navigators are not updated with the change, nor is the pre rendered directory for that site area on windows. E.g. if you change the name of a site area from 'EXAMPLESITEAREA' to 'examplesitearea' and preview a menu or navigator which contains a link with that site area in the URL, the link will still use .../EXAMPLESITEAREA/... If you pre-render the site area the sub-directory in the cacher output folder will not be changed to the lower case name.
Local fix
Change the name of the site to something else entirely (i.e. not just the case of the characters) and then change it back to the name you want. For example rename 'EXAMPLESITEAREA' to 'EXAMPLESITEAREA_TEMP', allow the pre-render to occur and then rename it to 'examplesitearea'.
Problem summary
The cacher (pre-rendering) module and the process to clear the m navigator caches on save were not performing a case sensitive ch against the name to determine if the site area was renamed durin update.
Problem conclusion
Temporary fix
