APAR status

Error description

  • In Tivoli Access Manager (TAM) 6.0.0.13 with WebSphere
    Application Server 6.1.0.17 installed, JACC deployments
    (and undeployments) which previously completed in 15-20 minutes
    now taking up to several hours to complete.

    This is an inclusion of TAM APAR IZ35740.
    The original TAM JACC code takes several hours to build several
    databases for external JACC authorization table, if there are
    excessive amount of authorization objects and attributes in an
    application.
    

Problem conclusion

  • With this fix, database creation code in TAM uses more robust
    way to construct the databases.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fixpack 6.1.0.23. Please refer to the Recommended Updates
    page for delivery information:
