PK75556: DUPLICATE SEARCH RESULTS WHEN SAME CONTENT IS LINKED TO MORE THAN ONE SITE AREA

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Duplicate search results are returned when the same content is
  linked to more than one site area. WCM search component is used
  to render search results that uses Portal search
  engine collection.
  
  Problem is that WCM is storing the references to the search
  results by the UUID in an internal java hashmap.  Since Content
  and Content links only store the UUID of the original content
  object, all links and the original will share single map entry.
  So when the URL is retrieved by the WCM Search component, the
  same URL is returned for all.

• The content is expected to show more than once in the results,
  but the path to the content should be different
