Error description

  • ABENDADCF ADCF occurs when scheduling an IMS PSB using PCBLOC=31
    and AMODE 31 program. DFHDLIDP is checking TCAAAM31 ( TCZAAM31 )
    and DSBPSP31 to determine ADCF. TCAAAM31 is off when the
    TRUE is called and DFHERM populates this through the entire
    DLI DBCTL call. DFHEIP sets TCAAAM31 for non-RMI calls, but not
    if DFHERM is called for TRUE from DFHEIP.

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    An unexpected abendADCF occurs when running an AMODE 31 CICS
    application with IMS v10 amd PCBLOC=31 is specified.
    An abendADCF is expected if the CICS application is running
    AMODE 24. DFHDLIDP issues the abendADCF because TCAAAM31 is
    not set to indicate this is an AMODE31 application.
    CALLDLI applications are not affected, only EXEC DLI.

Problem conclusion

  • UK30299 UK30300
    DFHERM has been changed to set TCAAAM according to the
    AMODE of the application if an EXEC DLI command is
    issued.
