PK73649: CANCEL DRAFT AND EDIT PUBLISHED DOC FUNCTION BROKEN

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• To recreate:
  1. As a user with Edit access to Published content, create a
  draft from
  a published document.
  2. Close the draft, and locate the original Published document -
  it
  will have a check next to it.
  3. Edit the Published document. It will prompt to either edit
  the
  draft, or cancel the draft and edit the published document.
  4. Cancel draft and edit the published document.
  5. The interface returns with a lock against the published
  document.
  Exception thrown in logs.

  for this item.
  

Problem conclusion

• Fix the functionality by opening edit form view for the
  published item.
