APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Add an Image Component to an Authoring Template.
Set values for Border, Height and Width. In the Default content
settings for that image element hide the field.
When a content is created using this Authoring template and
previewed, the height and width are not shown/part of the img
tag in the Page source of the preview.
If the field is not hidden then the height and width values are
    shown in the img tag.

Problem summary

  • Image default base heightand width hidden values in auth
template not retained when creating new content
When creating new content, base height and width values of an
image element are empty when they were set in the Authoring
    template as default hidden values
    To reproduce this issue:
    1. Create an image component
    2. Create an authoring template which contains a reference to
    the image element
    3. Put in values for the width and height dimensions of the
image and make these values hidden, and save.
    4. Create new content based on the authoring template in #2
    5. Click on "Show Hidden Values"
Result: the values entered in #3 are not shown, the width and
    height are cleared.
