Error description

SAXParserExceptions occur in the server or clients logs when
sending web service Message Transmission Optimization
Mechanism (MTOM) enabled requests with web services
tracing. The errors occur when com.ibm.ws.websvcs.*=all,
com.ibm.ws.websvcs.trace.*=all, or
com.ibm.ws.websvcs.transport.*=all tracing is enabled. If
this trace is disabled, the requests will work.

JAX-WS MTOM requests fail if the tracing levels
"com.ibm.ws.websvcs.*=all", "com.ibm.ws.websvcs.trace*=all",
or "com.ibm.ws.websvcs.transport*=all" are enabled. The
runtime reports parsing exceptions due to duplicate
consumption of MTOM data.

Problem conclusion

JAX-WS MTOM transactions can now successfully occur with
tracing enabled.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpack 7.0.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
