PK71645: WCM SEARCH DISPLAYING DUPLICATE RESULTS FOR SITEAREAS WITH DEFAULT CONTENT WHICH IS LOCATED UNDER DIFFERENT SITEAREA.

Error description

• If the SiteArea has default conent which is located under a
  different SiteArea, the SiteArea is not getting filtered, and
  there will be duplicate content items.

Problem summary

• If a sitearea's default content does not reside directly under
  that site area, but does reside somewhere in the site associated
  with the collection, that content is getting crawled and indexed
  twice.  This incorrectly results in duplicate search results.
  WCM search seed is not filtering all the SiteAreas with default
  content in them. It is only filtering the SiteAreas with default
  content, if the content is located right underneath it, in other
  words, only if it is the direct parent to that content.

  While building a search collection, WCM was only detecting and
  deleting duplicate site area default content references from the
  search seed list if the content resided directly under the site
  area which is  using it as default content.
  

Problem conclusion

• The only module changed was SearchSeedModel.java.  WCM was
  changed to detect any site areas with default content, then
  delete those references if the default content pointed to a
  content item which existed anywhere in the site associated with
  the collection.
  
  A fix for this problem is available for WCM 6.0.1.3 from Fix
