PK71403: USER IS UNABLE TO SEE THE CANCEL DRAFT BUTTON WHEN IN EDIT MODE ON THE DRAFT

Error description

• The cancel draft button is only available on the draft item
  while it is in read mode. In edit mode the button is not
  displayed and the user cannot cancel the draft without returning
  to read mode.

  Users are unable to cancel or delete drafts while in edit mode.
  The user must save and read the item to access these functions,
  which is not immediately obvious.
  

Problem conclusion

• Problem Analysis:
  
  The delete or cancel draft (for drafts created from a published
  item) button should be present while the item is in edit mode to
  allow users to cancel their changes.
  
  Failing Module: WCM - Web Content Management (General)
  
  Problem Solution:
  
  For newly created drafts that have been saved, the user will see
  the "Delete" button while in edit mode. For drafts that are
  created from a published item, the "Cancel Draft" will be
  displayed in edit mode. The delete button will not be shown for
  drafts that are created from a published item in both read and
  edit modes.
