Error description

When partial update is selected to update JavaServer Pages
(JSPs) and generated class files, the deploy process changes
the jsp last modified time to the deploy time. While updating
a large application, the jsp time may differ from the compiled
class files which results in recompiling the jsp at the first
access

During a multiple-file partial application update (not a
module update), the last-modified timestamps of the source
files to be updated will be changed to the time of the update.
This can be problematic in a scenario where both JSP and class
files are provided in an update and the class files are
unintentionally recompiled during runtime due to the
last-modified timestamps of the class files having been
changed to a later time than their corresponding JSP files.

Problem conclusion

Code has been modified to retain the last-modified timestamps
of source files provided during a multiple-file partial
application update.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fixpacks 6.0.2.33, 6.1.0.23 and 7.0.0.3. Please refer to the
