• 1. Create a portal page with a local rendering portlet
  2. Configure the portlet to receive links from others
  
  3. Create a url mapping for the page. e.g. testpage
  4. Make a request for the page with invalid context
  e.g. http://myhost/wps/portal/testpage?
  WCM_GLOBAL_CONTEXT=/invalid/Context
  5. You should see the error in the log.
  6. To recreate the error use a different invalid context

Local fix

Problem summary

• Making a request to a page with WCM local rendering portlet with
  non- existing WCM_GLOBAL_CONTEXT causes errors in the log. The
  current behavior has a significant impact on performance in case
  there are lots of invalid requests.
  

Problem conclusion

• Adjusted log level so that full stack traces are only written
  with log level
  com.ibm.workplace.wcm.api.WCM_RenderingContext=FINER or higher.
